These days go by too fast.
I’m taking my last “vacation day” today since I had a few left. Tomorrow is my last official day of working full-time for the place I’ve been working nearly 4 years. Of course I found out too late that I could have just gotten paid for those extra unused vacation hours. I can use the days but I think I would have preferred the money. Oh well though; it’s too late now.
There are days when I’m totally excited, full of ideas about how to make “my business” better and I can’t wait to get started on all of them, all at once. Other days I’m just tired, overwhelmed, completely doubting what I’m doing.
Some days it’s a little of both. Today is one of those days. I can’t decide if I want to edit the 2 weddings I’m in the middle of, clean off my desk (I can’t work my best with a messy desk and it’s been a terrible mess since the day after I bought it), work on some new ideas, or just go back to bed.
