One of the best parts of my job is the week between Christmas and New Year’s when all the offices shut down and I get a whole week of vacation that counts as holiday days. This year I had grand plans for the week; I figured I could get tons of “other job” stuff done.
I just now found the list of things I wanted to do. Not that I haven’t been busy – I’ve been doing Other Job stuff for 2 whole days, shooting and editing family portraits and assembling a wedding album – but I haven’t actually gotten to the list yet.
Meanwhile, Christmas feels very long ago and far away. Before it gets any farther, here is our tree (which is still up and drying out):
Our tree is still up as well! Most of the needles seem to be on the ground however.
