January, 2009 Archives

Darek and my brother-in-law AJ decided to make everybody omelets for breakfast! With the large amount of people in the family now, this was no small undertaking.

AJ is funny:

There were all sorts of amazing ingredients:

My sister Katherine took orders for everyone (not all are pictured):

Yummers!

Six hours later….

Velcro would also like an omelet.

What happens when I find gummy fried eggs to put in Darek’s stocking and they go to Danley Christmas with us?

These guys just crack me up.

My family is awesome.

january 12 – 17

January 19th, 2009

january 12: a stuffed animal with sentimental value; he’s been living in my car for about 7 years but now that the saturn’s being prepped for selling, he moved into the house

january 13: I’m really trying to cut down on cat pictures, but these days there’s just not much else going on

january 14: practicing with my ring and the macro lens again

january 15: bananagrams

january 16: our beautiful sample leather flushmount album arrived! (the Kiss album, for you twitter friends)

january 17: I finally got embarrassed enough with the empty flower pot by our front door to put a pansy in it

These are the last of the Mexico pictures.

We were only there for a few hours in the morning on our last “day.” It was very sad.

Saying good-bye:

Chess, anyone?

At the airport:

Sad to leave:

I didn’t put the links up with the pictures, because I just didn’t feel like taking the time, but if you want to see more pictures from our trip they’re on our flickr pages:
